We strongly encourage submission of abstracts from early-career NMR scientists, to be presented as posters or in promoted talks. Presenters selected for a promoted talk will have their registration fee waived, thanks to our sponsor ISMAR. Awards will be granted for best poster and oral presentation, thanks to our sponsor IUPAB.
PhD students and early career postdocs holding a two-year membership can contact the Austrian Biophysical Society to redeem a voucher (waiver of the 75 EUR fee).

The registration fee contains the costs for all coffee breaks, lunch and snacks, the use of conference facilities, and the conference shuttle bus. Accommodation and travel should be booked independently.
Please note that the number of available places is limited. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or decline registrations once capacity has been reached. In such cases, affected registrants will be notified promptly.
Important Information
Payment confirmation
You will receive written confirmation of your payment and the successful registration via email. This might take a few hours or days. Please carefully check your inbox to make sure you received both emails. Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the Events Office.
Invoice and receipt
While we do accommodate payments (bank transfer) via invoice in very special cases, we encourage the use of credit card payments for smoother processing. If possible, we kindly ask that you consider this option.
However, if you already registered, unfortunately we cannot issue invoices retroactively, only prior to the payment. We issue a receipt/confirmation of payment automatically after a successful registration.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email events@ista.ac.at
Fees will be refunded according to the following policy:
- 90% refund until January 31, 2026 (10% to account for administrative costs)
- No refund from January 31, 2026
Organizers shall not be liable for refunds should visas not be obtained.
